Shiraz Mediterranean Grill

Shiraz has been a (very) long time, family favorite. As far back as when the first one opened in the shotgun house storefront on Brownsboro Road! We still frequent the Bardstown Rd. location to this day. It’s consistently delicious and we are so happy to still have them in Louisville all these years later. They have foods that I can still eat even as my dietary needs have changed over the years. When I was vegan, I could eat there, now that I’m allergic to dairy and gluten, I can still eat there. It’s such a great restaurant! Don’t sleep on this one if you haven’t been.

i would give it 4.5. The food overall is pretty good. the beef skewers were amazing. The chicken was good. The lamb lion were tender but I did not like the seasoning. The quinoa and hummus were just ok. but the best dish that i highly recommend was the eggplant. I would just go back for that. The service was very nice which is hard to find these days. and it is a cute little romantic place. Also very good priced for the portions they give you.

My son and I visited the Bardstown Rd. location. The food was excellent, so fresh. The atmosphere was great. We sat outside and ate, while we people watched. He got the chicken kabob, while I ordered the shrimp kabob. We shared a sampler plate. There was not one thing that either of us disliked. I heartily recommend this restaurant. I will definately be going back! Pricing was very reasonable too:)

Loved all the food. Fast and convenient delivery. Too bad we're just visiting, I'd go at least three times a week.

The chicken and lentil rice is the only thing my 7 year old eats consistently. Shiraz is a staple in our house. When I ordered takeout last night, the owner was working and it was really busy. He touched base with me as soon as I got there, sped up the process of getting my order, and while I waited at least 2 other employees checked to make sure I had what I needed. I was out really quick on a busy Friday night. Highly recommend the chicken curry stew as well!

Update: The food, atmosphere and service are still great here! I highly recommend it! Update: 11/4/23 - the food here was absolutely amazing once again. Keep doing a great job! I love the food here. I would recommend grilled salmon or chicken kabab with herbal rice. Cozy, clean restaurant with nice ambience, and great Reggie music. The owners of this restaurant really do care about their customers. Often they take a moment of their busy day and talk to you for a sole purpose of customer satisfaction.

Top notch a-one quality. Highly recommend their kebabs with rice or sweet potato chips. Gave 4 star that doesn't mean they fall sort. It is just my way of evaluating perfect parameters. Nevertheless, coming to the point their servings were great, hospitality, coming skills and beautiful fusion of spices and taste. Loved it.
